Conflict Zone

In her one-person play, Conflict Zone, artist Leahy Ardon takes the audience on a ride through laughter and tears. Following the protagonist’s journey of recovery from an eating disorder, Conflict Zone explores the connections between internal and external war, giving the audience food for thought and room for hope.

Galim (Waves)

Maya, a young woman longing for freedom and a sense of belonging, finds an unexpected home in a small coffee shop in Northern Israel. Stopping by daily for a nice cup of coffee, Maya is met with the well-meaning,  if old-fashioned, café owners. Over the course of the play, the characters are met with challenges that expose generational gaps – having to confront the changing views on gender roles and other societal expectations. Galim is a gentle and sweet play about learning, growth, chosen family, and common humanity.

Galim was premiered as a staged-reading,

as the closing event of the 2021 Harvard Playwright’s Festival.

Dinner with the Devil

Written and produced by Leahy Ardon, Dinner with the Devil was a unique collaboration, bringing together Israeli, Iranian and American artists and students. Through an intense ten-day production, directed by Deniz Khateri of the Boston Experimental Theater Company, the ensemble brought to life "a play of evil forces". With sound design by Bahar Royaee, and songs by Leahy Ardon, Dinner with the Devil was a celebration of sound, movement, visions, and words.
